Due to the success of the virtual ACRRS, Army Cycling will hold the first Army Cycling Virtual Racing Championships in order to determine the 2020 Champions. The event will take place on Tuesday 7th July; starting at 1830hrs.
Army Men’s Championships: B-PEN.
Army Women’s Championship – D-PEN Course.
The event will decide the 2020 virtual Champions in both the men’s and women’s events. It will also recognise and award the following categories:
- Podium places – 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event.
- 1st under 25 male and female. · 1st over 40 male.
- 1st over 35 female Admin Points.
Entry is open to all Regular and Reserve (paid) members of Army Cycling. Riders are to enter their respective PEN as detailed above. W/Kg and ACRRS categories do not apply to this race. All e-doping rules detailed within the e-ACRRS apply. All podium places and randomly selected riders will be expected to provide proof of weight, height, power source and race data within 24hrs of competing. Heart Rate Monitors (HRM) must be worn and connected throughout – No HRM equals no result.
All riders must be registered on https://www.zwiftpower.com/team.php?id=7888 and the ‘British Army Cycling Union Riders’ team with their Primary account set to Army Cycling. After a rider’s ZwiftPower and Zwift name riders must have the exact words: [Army Cycling] · e.g. A. Ridler [Army Cycling] · Final results will be taken from filtered ZwiftPower results.
A Zwift link to the event will follow in due course. The administration instruction and risk assessment will be loaded to Defence Connect.
