Army Squash has recently focused on increasing women’s participation in squash with a redistribution of funding to support grassroots events and a view to holistically develop players with inclusion of resilient leadership fundamentals in future sessions. This current session is the first one following the Covid pandemic, with the aim to get women back on court or try for the first time. We have invited along the other sS to join us on court in light of World Squash Day occurring 09 Oct 21. The team we are playing comprises of players from Shrewsbury Squash & Racketball Club as well as Shropshire Squash Club – who have recently benefitted from participation activities during Women’s Squash Week last month. This is a great opportunity for the sS players to showcase their skills for selection into their sS Squash teams, as well as make new friends and have some fun.
