Troops to Target – Talent Identification Day 24-25 May

FOR TARGET PISTOL AND SMALLBORE TARGET RIFLE WILL BE HELD AT BISLEY ON TUE 24 -WED 25 MAY 22

 The Army T2T Talent ID day will take place at the Lord Roberts Centre, National Shooting Centre, Bisley, GU24 0NY on Tue 24 -Wed 25 May 22.  The purpose of the Talent ID day is to identify new athletes to join the British Army Shooting T2T Elite Sports Programme.

The aim of the event is to identify potential T2T athletes in the Army; no prior experience is required.  Individuals identified during the day will either be:

  • Selected to attend a further assessment with British Shooting before being invited via their CoC to join the T2T programme.
  • Recommended to attend a Smallbore, or Target Pistol Course conducted by the Army Rifle Association (ARA).
  • Admin Instruction, Application forms and further details on the event can be obtained from the ARA Chief Clerk: samantha.treumann742@mod.gov.uk.

All applications are to be with the ARA Chief Clerk NLT  05 May 22 (obtained from the ARA for interested Units).

Individuals wishing to bring their own Air Pistol/Rifle or Smallbore Target Rifle for the trial must contact the HQ ARA Facilities Manager in advance to make arrangements for local storage.
