Sgt Steve Mitchell, Troops to Target /5 Bn REME, competed in the Netherlands last week in the 10m Air Rifle Senior Men’s category at Intershoot 2023.
Steve came away with 3 Golds over the course of 3 days where he shot exceptionally well and qualified every day for the international finals.
His achievements don’t stop there, he obtained a personal best score on day 2’s qualification match – 625.7
Sgt Stephen Mitchell has recently been selected for the British Shooting World Class Programme 22/23 along with other fellow Troops 2 Target athletes: Lt Michael Bamsey (Rifle), Sgt Sam Gowin (Pistol) & Spr Emilia Faulkner (Pistol).
Troops to Target athletes are demonstrating their fantastic abilities, their hard work and the incredible opportunities the British Army have to offer.
