Over the month of June, 12 female individuals travelled the mileage and scope of Malta playing Netball on three different tournaments.
The teams trained and played challenging matches against national league and clubs such as Luxol NC, MIA NC and All Ages NC. This is a huge improvement in the wider sports development in the Army which gives an opportunity for the team to explore and demonstrate their effective collaboration and interfacing with a wider community engagement outside the organisation. This experience has shown us a great preparation for the sporting season ahead of 2020 within the Army Netball Association.
Apart from sports fixtures during our tour, we had the opportunity to visit some historical sites of Malta such as; Valletta City Gate, Saint-John’s Cathedral Museum and Bastion Grand Harbour.
