We are anticipating an ABN from Army HQ shortly that will look to resume Army Representative Sport, not before Step 3 of the Government’s road map to get the Nation out of lockdown (currently scheduled for 17 May). With that in mind, it is worth reminding you of the 3 Step process that Army Sports are to follow when looking to resume and play Army Representative Sport (this includes training sessions and fixtures).
- Step 1 – Provides guidance for those sports that received authority to resume playing in 2020
- Step 2 – Provides guidance for those sports that still require authority to resume playing in 2021
- Step 3 – Is the required current process for the 2* authorisation of all representative fixtures/training sessions, once that sport has been authorised to resume.
Please ensure that all paperwork either for the resumption of a sport or for authorisation of a representative training session or fixture is sent to ASCB Ops Branch.
