Lt Col Christina Murray to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats, starts Sunday

Monday 14th: News in from the support team for Lt.Col. Christina Murray on the Land’s End to John O’Groats road record attempt.
After an outstanding effort over the last 24+ hours Chrissy has had us all glued to dot watching on the tracker, however this morning Christina Murray has ended her Land’s End to John O’Groats attempt just north of Kendal, at the foot of Shap. She is a remarkable athlete with a legacy of fantastic rides who we wish a speedy recovery and look forward to following on her next fantastic challenge.
“Good morning all. Unfortunately, it’s with heavy hearts that we have to report that Christina has abandoned her attempt due to a niggling injury that just wouldn’t go away. A valiant and inspirational effort I’m sure you’ll all agree. Thank you all for your overwhelming support”

On Sunday at 0700hrs, Christina Murray (Army Cycling) will be attempting to beat the 18-year-old women’s RRA Land’s End to John O’Groats cycling record. Updates on her challenge will be provided across the ASCB social media sites and here on this post when available.
