European Masters Games: Monday 29th July

The second official day of competing saw the British Army come away with medals in Judo and more to add to the Swimming collection.

Within Judo, there was gold for Maj Duncan Campbell (RA) and bronze for Cpl Lyndsay Delany (RMP), LBdr Antony Lowe Fassam (RA) and LCpl Nathen Salkeld.

Swimming added more medals to their collection as gold was earned in the 200m breaststroke by Lt Col Katie Hislop (RE) with a time of 03.06.29 and Capt Danielle Folland (RE) was also awarded gold in the 200m breaststroke in her time of 03.08.57 . Maj Ash Brown (RLC) swam the 200m freestyle in 02.33.56 to earn silver whilst 2nd Lt Lawrence Oxborough (AGC) finished the 50m butterfly in 26.42s to also earn a silver medal. Two more individual medals were earned by  Capt Roland Lee (AGC ETS) in the 50m butterfly with a time of 31.71s and Capt Mae King (RA) finished the 100m backstroke in 01.25.50 to both be awarded with bronze.
